Meet The Team

My name is Laura Mahon, and I am the CEO of Mattituck Merch. This is my second year in Virtual Enterprise. I also serve as President of the Mattituck DECA chapter and President of the Aquarium Club. Additionally, I am an active member of Student Council, Leo’s Club, and the Cheer team. Outside of school, I work at a vineyard on weekends and babysit during the week.

Hello! My name is Claire McKenzie, and I am the Chief Operating Officer of Mattituck Merch. I love staying active through basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, and running. I also enjoy the beach, traveling, and spending time with my friends, family, and my dog, Roxy. I bring energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm to everything I do.

I am the Chief Sales Officer for Mattituck Merch. I hold several leadership positions, including Senior Class President and President of both FFA/Aquarium Club. I am also a member of Student Council, SADD, DECA, Select Chorus, and the lighting crew for school productions. As a three-sport varsity athlete in tennis, basketball, and lacrosse, I value teamwork, communication, and collaboration. I plan to attend a university next year to pursue a degree in business management.

I am a junior at Mattituck High School and the Chief Financial Officer of Mattituck Merch. I also serve as the Executive Vice President of Mattituck DECA and the Executive Officer of Blackjacks, the NJROTC Honors Society. Additionally, I am involved in Student Council, marching band, Music Honors Society, Art Honors Society, and Art Portfolio. I am also a varsity cheerleader. Outside of school, I volunteer at the Mattituck Historical Society and local libraries.

Hi! My name is Grace Quinn, and I am the CTO of the Technology Department. I am a senior at Mattituck High School and a hardworking, determined, and outgoing student. I play varsity Volleyball, Basketball, and Lacrosse, and have played lacrosse for over 10 years. I am also an active member of DECA, Leo’s Club, and Aquarium Club. I enjoy helping the community and meeting new people. Next year, I will attend Siena University to play Division I lacrosse and plan to pursue a major in advertising with a minor in sports marketing.

I am a member of the Finance Department in Virtual Enterprise, where I help track our company’s money and ensure that all financial information is accurate. I enjoy learning how businesses manage money and make financial decisions. Outside of school, I like spending time with friends and staying active. I hope to continue learning about finance and business in the future.

My name is Corey, and I am a Sales Associate in Virtual Enterprise. I strive to improve each day and lead by example. Outside of class, I play soccer, which keeps me active and competitive. I also enjoy hunting and fishing, hobbies that have taught me patience, focus, and responsibility. These experiences help me bring a strong work ethic and steady mindset to VE every day.

My name is Javier, and I work in the Sales Department in Virtual Enterprise. I am hardworking, creative, and always looking for ways to help our company stand out. Outside of VE, I stay active in school and continue building real-life skills such as carpentry and business management. I also enjoy helping people in my community. I joined VE to better understand how businesses operate and to gain experience for the future. I’m excited to contribute to my team this year.

My name is Trey Hansen, and I am a senior at Mattituck High School. I am a Sales Associate in Virtual Enterprise, where I enjoy helping customers and providing excellent service. I play baseball, basketball, and golf, which help me stay active and develop focus and teamwork skills. I am also involved in the Leo’s Club and DECA, where I continue building leadership and communication skills. Balancing sports, clubs, and VE has taught me time management, discipline, and responsibility.

I am a senior at Mattituck Jr.–Sr. High School and serve as a Sales Associate for our Virtual Enterprise firm. In this role, I work to connect customers with the merchandise they need, provide excellent service, and pitch our products to companies to help expand our business. This position has strengthened my communication, perseverance, and innovation skills. Outside of VE, I play baseball for Mattituck and volunteer through the Leo’s Club, where I support community initiatives.

I am a member of the Sales Team in Virtual Enterprise. In addition to VE, I participate in baseball, my favorite sport. I also attend Botany Club every Thursday to learn about plant life and the environment. One of my most meaningful commitments is the NJROTC program, through which I volunteer in various community activities such as beach cleanups, parades, and Walk for Valor events. These experiences have strengthened my leadership and teamwork skills.

My name is Chase, and I am part of the Marketing Team in Virtual Enterprise. I assist the Chief Marketing Officer by helping advertise products and services, prepare company sales materials, and support trade show presentations. Outside of VE, I enjoy playing tennis and studying science and math topics as a personal hobby. I also plan to become more involved in clubs such as SADD. In my free time, I enjoy exploring indie games like Undertale, Hollow Knight, and Limbo. I hope to bring creativity and analytical thinking to the Marketing Team.

I am Liam Springer, a Marketing Associate for our Virtual Enterprise company. In this role, I support my team and contribute to our firm’s growth through creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Outside of VE, I stay active by playing soccer and basketball, which help me develop discipline and teamwork. This year, I also joined DECA to build my leadership skills. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and exploring new hobbies. Being part of VE has helped me grow personally and professionally, and I look forward to continuing that growth throughout the year.

I am a senior at Mattituck High School and an active member of both academic and extracurricular communities. I currently serve as Vice President of the Senior Class and am involved in Leo’s Club, DECA, Best Buddies, the Cares Committee, and the National Honor Society. In addition, I am a varsity lacrosse player and a member of the Mattituck Merch Tech Team. Outside of school, I work as a lifeguard for Southold Town and as a local lacrosse trainer. Next year, I plan to attend James Madison University to major in Health Sciences and continue my athletic career as a Division I lacrosse player.

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn, and I am a member of the Tech Team for Virtual Enterprise. In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, spending time with friends, going to the gym, and running to stay active and healthy.

I am the Tech Team Manager for Mattituck Merch. My role requires strong communication, innovation, and critical thinking—skills I demonstrate daily. I have played many sports throughout my life and have been a PAL-to-Varsity athlete. When I was unable to play varsity football due to roster size, I remained committed to the program by helping coach the Junior Varsity team. I am also an active member of SADD and the Leo’s Club. Outside of school, I spend most of my time working or playing sports.

My name is Kate Nemschick, and I am a member of the Technology Team at Mattituck Merch. I am involved in Art Portfolio, Volleyball, and Softball. Creativity is a big part of my life, and several of my artworks have been featured in museum exhibitions. I also love traveling and have been exploring the world since I was just one week old. I enjoy combining artistic vision with technical skill in every project I work on.

My name is Livia Perrin, and I am a senior at Mattituck High School. I serve as President of the Mattituck Leos Club and Secretary of the Student Body. As a member of the Tech Team in Virtual Enterprise, I design and create content for our school’s social media to promote events and keep students informed. I also participate in SADD and Best Buddies, both focused on inclusivity and acceptance. I am a varsity cheerleader and volleyball player and work for the Mattituck Parks District, as well as babysitting and dog-sitting in my community.

My name is Stella Tatarka, and I am a senior at Mattituck High School. I am a member of the Tech Team in Virtual Enterprise, where we work to promote our brand. I dedicate much of my time to volleyball, playing for both my school and travel team. I also serve as Vice President of the Leo’s Club, participate in DECA, and am a member of the National Honor Society. Staying involved in school and community activities is important to me, and I enjoy finding ways to make a positive impact.

My name is Jackson Case, and I serve in Human Resources for our Virtual Enterprise company. I am a starting defender on the Mattituck Varsity Soccer team and an active member of the Boy Scouts, currently working toward my Eagle Scout rank. I thrive when collaborating with others, and teamwork keeps me motivated, connected, and able to overcome challenges. Dedication and hard work have strengthened my confidence and helped me achieve my goals throughout high school. I bring these qualities to VE every day to contribute my best to the team.
